Finally our puppy is here. Abby is the little pup we were playing with two weeks ago. Abby is quite the little chewer. We’ve had to put our shoes up. Her attention span is very short. Getting her interested in her chew toys is a challenge. She is always underfoot and loves being in our ‘pack’. She likes to go for little explorations or door stop hunting expeditions, but quickly prances back to check on Kaitlyn. Abby’s prize is Kaitlyn’s feather boa, but the springy door stops, and Kaitlyn’s socks, are also high on Abby’s list of favorites.
Kaitlyn is learning to feel comfortable interacting with Abby. Kaitlyn loves kisses, being chased, and tossing Abby her toys, but has trouble finding the courage to say off, or let Abby know if her nibbling is too hard. It’s all good and getting better.
