For thanksgiving mama and I went to Mankato to see the Betsy, Tacy, and Tib houses. These houses and other locations in Mankato were made famous by Maude Hart Lovelace. She wrote the Betsy/Tacy series. Ten books based on her real life experiences during the early 1900's in Mankato.
I even climbed up a huge snow bank just to see the bench the girls sat at! We stayed in St. Peter and I got to see St. Peter's Pearly gates
and eat at Patricks on 3rd. A great Irish pub that is famous for the chicken, burgers and fries!
Daddy took me to Mama's work to see Santa at the holiday open house:
On December 9th, I got out early from school to see my friends in choir perform at the Mall. My friend Georgia came with. We had fun afterward (with Georgia and Kari) and saw Santa.
On December 10th I got to skip school and go downtown with my friend Katie to see Disney on Ice.
December 12th the blizzard hit!!! 13 plus inches in some areas. Mama had to call a plowing service to dig us out because there was too much snow. We even had snow in the house that blew in thru the sliding glass doors. Here is me with that snow!
